Smart Kids Toy store was founded in 2015 by Jeff Faw, the owner of Learning How, a company that grew to seven locations throughout the state of Maryland. Jeff started by offering toys and items that promoted learning, outdoor play, and interactive experiences for kids inside the Pennsylvania Dutch Market in Cockeysville, Maryland. As demand grew, Jeff expanded the store’s selection to include a variety of educational and sensory toys, catering to customers seeking products that promoted fun, intelligent learning, creative imagination, and interactions among children.

Over time, Jeff continued to add more educational items, including learning placemats, books, stuffed animals, and puppets. His carefully curated collection became a favorite among parents, teachers, and special education professionals who valued high-quality, hands-on learning materials. Jeff’s knowledge of toys and business acumen helped him connect his customers to a beloved store in Baltimore area.

In December 2023, after years of dedication and successful running of a toy store for 9 years, Jeff decided to retire and sell the store. The new owners, Bishwo Adhikari and Bhagawati Tiwari, embraced the business Jeff had built while further diversifying the product selection. Staying true to the store’s mission and guidance from Jeff, they have continued to provide fun, unique, and engaging learning tools for children.

Today, Smart Kids Toys remains a beloved brick-and-mortar store, cherished by kids, parents, teachers, and special educators who appreciate its commitment to enriching children’s learning experiences within the community. With the new owners at the helm, the Smart Kids Toy store looks forward to growing its reach, introducing fun, innovative educational and intelligent learning products, and strengthening community outreach for years to come.
